Curriculum matches by style and grade band

These twelve pages are explainers. Each one quotes the scoring weights from the methodology and lists programs whose style tags and recorded grade span overlap that band. They are the indexable pages for a style and a grade band. A personal quiz result is not a separate public page. The quiz keeps answers in the address on your device, at /matcher/, and the copy button copies that address. We do not store it.

The list on each explainer is not the ranked result of a full eight-answer quiz. A full result also uses time, budget, faith, accreditation, and pace. Use the link on the explainer to open the quiz with that style and a sample grade filled in. You can change every answer. Quiz answers are never stored or sent. The site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies, for anonymous usage stats. We do not ask for a child's name.

Paid placement is labeled Sponsored when a listing has it. It does not change the weights. Unknown prices and unknown grade spans stay unknown. A program whose grade span is not recorded is left off the band list rather than treated as a match for every grade. State rules are on the state pages, and those pages are not legal advice.

Classical pages look for the classical tag. Charlotte Mason pages look for the Charlotte Mason tag. Traditional pages look for traditional, textbook, video, or workbook, which is the same group the quiz uses. The four bands are kindergarten through grade 2, grades 3–5, grades 6–8, and grades 9–12. A program can appear in more than one band when its recorded span crosses the boundary. PreK–12 appears in every band. That is the span the provider listed, not a claim that one book fits every age.

Topic guides for Charlotte Mason, classical, secular, free, and kindergarten use the same directory fields. Head-to-head pages and alternatives pages are linked from the compare index and from each program. Use those when you already have two names. Use a match explainer when you have a style and a grade band and you want the scoring table next to the overlap list.
