Logos Press: price, grades, and fit

Logos Press sells classical Christian curriculum. The homepage says so in those words, and the grade menu lists first grade through twelfth grade. A separate heading says Grades 1–8 Homeschool Bundles. A dollar price for that bundle heading was not on the cards that loaded, so the matcher uses grades 1–12 from the menu and does not pretend one book covers every grade. The lowest prices on the cards are single Canon Classics titles at $9.95, including A Christmas Carol and the worldview edition of Treasure Island. That $9.95 is the starting figure. It is one book. Introductory Logic is $31.99. Intermediate Logic is $165.96. The Amazing Dr. Ransom’s Bestiary of Adorable Fallacies is $24.99. The Rhetoric Companion is $32.00. Kraken Latin is $27.99 for level 1, $33.99 for level 2, and $73.97 for level 3. Brit Lit, volumes 1–10, including the poetry workbook, is $178.90. Worldview-guide starter packages are $22.39 and $39.95. Basic Christian Living is $18.00. A Canon Classics package is $804.15, and smaller classics bundles on the same cards run from $32.27 to $87.12. The page also names Noeo Science. That science series is already its own listing here, and its prices are not copied onto this one. Accreditation is n/a. A parent teaches the books. Our involvement estimate is high. The $9.95 novel is not a grades 1–8 bundle and not a year of Latin.

Where this listing sits

Logos Press is filed under curricula (print & mixed). People also search Logos Press, Logos Press Education. The directory name and the URL stay stable so an old link still lands here. CurriculumQuiz does not invent its own star score, run a parent poll, or sell a review. Third-party ratings quoted below stay in that section. Numeric ratings are combined into the independent average that orders program lists. That average is not a fact in the list above, and it is not a CurriculumQuiz score.

The price, read carefully

Price as shown: “Product cards on the homepage: Introductory Logic $31.99; Intermediate Logic $165.96; The Amazing Dr. Ransom’s Bestiary of Adorable Fallacies $24.99; The Rhetoric Companion $32.00; Kraken Latin 1 $27.99; Kraken Latin 2 $33.99; Kraken Latin 3 $73.97; Brit Lit volumes 1–10, including the poetry workbook, $178.90; worldview-guide starter packages $22.39 and $39.95; Basic Christian Living $18.00; Canon Classics package $804.15; several Canon Classics bundles between $32.27 and $87.12; single Canon Classics titles include A Christmas Carol $9.95 and Treasure Island, worldview edition, $9.95..” The starting figure is $9.95. That number is item, Canon Classics single title, A Christmas Carol or Treasure Island worldview edition. It is not a full-year total for every subject and every child. If you line it up next to a school tuition, you are comparing different kinds of purchases. Source: official price page, checked October 27, 2026.

Grades

Logos Press is listed for The homepage grade menu lists first grade through twelfth grade. A heading on the same page says Grades 1–8 Homeschool Bundles. A bundle price for that heading was not in the product cards that loaded.. In the quiz, that span is treated as grades 1 through grade 12. A program can still place a child by skill rather than age. Use the provider’s placement test when one exists, and do not force a level because of last year’s grade.

Accreditation and faith

Accreditation is recorded as “n/a.” This listing is not marked as an accredited school. Many families use curricula that are not schools and keep their own records. That is a legal and practical question for your state and for any school you might transfer back to, not a quality score. See what accreditation does and does not mean.

Faith stance recorded from how the provider describes the program: Christian. That is a description, not a rating. A Christian tag does not tell you how doctrine is handled. A secular tag means we did not record a religious claim. Catholic is more specific than Christian, and the quiz treats them differently when you ask for Catholic materials.

How the day is shaped

Classical

Classical teaching follows the trivium: memory and facts, then logic, then rhetoric, often with great books. For Logos Press, the tag is a filing label from the official description, not a review of how your child will feel on a Thursday.

Parent-directed delivery means a parent sets the pace and is usually in the lesson. Parent time is our estimate: high. A parent teaches, reads aloud, or guides the conversation most days. We estimate that from the program type (parent-directed books, living books, or mastery lessons), not from a stopwatch. If that is the part of homeschooling you want, this shape can fit. If you need the program to run while you work a shift, look at listings with a low estimate and then read their delivery tags.

Who it may suit

• You want materials the publisher presents as Christian.
• You want to teach, read aloud, or sit in the lesson.

Who may want a different listing

• You cannot be the teacher on a normal week.
• You need an accredited diploma and this listing does not record one.
• You want strictly secular materials.

These notes come from the type, the style tags, and the faith and accreditation fields. They are not a quality review. A program can be a poor fit for your week and still be well made.

What the official site itself describes

Recorded from the official site on October 27, 2026: The homepage says classical Christian curriculum and grades 1–8 homeschool bundles. Noeo Science is named as a product line on the same page. Noeo Science is already a separate listing. This listing is the Logos Press shop, not a second copy of the Noeo Biology 1 price. The $9.95 books are single titles. This sentence is a quotation of what we could verify. It is not a full catalog, and it is not a recommendation.

Questions to ask before you pay

• Does the price you were quoted include every subject, shipping, and a second child, or only the example on this page?
• Is there a placement test, and what happens if your child lands in a different level than their age?
• Who keeps grades and transcripts, you or Logos Press? That answer matters for your state’s official rules.
• What is the refund or trial window, in the provider’s own words?
• On a normal Tuesday, how many minutes is a parent in the lesson?

How to use this page with the quiz

The curriculum quiz ranks Logos Press against the other 137 listings using your grade, style, time, budget, faith, accreditation need, and pace. Your state adds a link when we have an official source. It does not change the score. You can also put this program next to others in the compare tool. Families often look at A Reason For, Abeka Homeschool, All About Learning Press in the same category. For the wider decision, read how to choose and the cost guide.
